Cindee Walsh
Lead Underwriter for Walker Commercial Funding
Cindee Walsh has over 10 years experience in the banking and finance industry. She began her career at Enrich International, in the accounting department creating daily financial reports for executives and shareholders. In 2000 she entered the commercial business sector with Zion’s First National Bank in the SBA and construction lending department.
While at Zion’s bank, she developed the ability to creatively structure and packages all small commercial loan types. Options for funding these packages were extremely limited in banking so she left Zion’s to work for Eagle Gate Financial Services, a large brokerage firm in Salt Lake City, UT. Eagle Gate Financial, a long time firm for Larry H. Miller’s financing, offered her the opportunity to work with more expansive lending criteria and master her creative underwriting skills and loan packaging abilities.
Ms. Walsh also began extensive work with self employed clients structuring and funding loans that were otherwise unable to close through regular banking institutions. Ms. Walsh also served the BC market while at Eagle Gate Financial Services in the residential field by helping low income families obtain home ownership through correct means.
Her services to this market included writing resumes and cover letters for applicants to obtain higher paying positions, credit repair and education. Additionally she was instrumental in negotiating fees with sellers and loan officers, and creative packaging to make home ownership not only achievable but affordable to these families.
Then in 2002, Ms Walsh was offered a management position with Pro Capital Mortgage, construction and residential brokerage firm in Orem, UT. She quickly became the Director of Operations and was responsible for quality control, loan underwriting and packaging as well as training and management of the Pro Capital team.
In November of 2006 Ms Walsh accepted a position with Blue Screen Marketing, a strictly commercial mortgage brokerage to underwrite and package large commercial loan packages. During this time she was introduced to the private finance sector and further developed experience in structuring high profile loan packages. Unfortunately the company suffered from poor management and in late 2007, Ms. Walsh left for an opportunity to further her underwriting career in the high profile commercial sector with Walker Commercial Funding as lead underwriter.
During her time with Walker, Ms Walsh has structured and packaged over 160 commercial loans and in doing so obtained funding for clients in an extremely difficult market.
